OUR FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
Teresa Crandon is our Family Support worker. Being a parent can sometimes feel challenging and overwhelming at times.
Teresa is here to offer support to you and your family. She can signpost you to other professionals and most importantly offer a friendly, non-judgmental listening ear. Teresa works Monday - Wednesday 8.30am - 4pm.
If Teresa is unable to help you she will always try and find someone who can.
The support that Teresa is able to offer is detailed in the diagram below:

What is your Local Offer?
Your Local Offer is a "one stop shop" for all things SEN in your area for information and services. Your Local Offer is specific to your Local Authority. Your Local Authority is the council where you live, not necessarily where the school is.

Short breaks
Short breaks provide opportunities for disabled children and young people to spend time away from their families and have fun; they also provide families with a break from their caring responsibilities.
How can I access Short Breaks?
Each Local Authority is different in their referral process.
Wokingham takes self referrals from families as well as referrals from schools.
